Student Council

Student council is composed of a group of 6th, 7th and 8th graders who coordinate student events, organize special projects and sell spirit wear from the school store. In order to join student council students must fill out an application, campaign and be voted on to the council. Meetings take place during homeroom and afterschool. Student council is the heartbeat of Reuther Middle School.

8th Grade PresidentHi! My name is Serena M., and I am the 8th-grade president. I joined STUCO because I like to help my school and participate. Some facts about me are that I’m Albanian, and my favorite color is blue.

8th Grade Vice President

My name is Ella M and I am the 8th grade vice president. I joined Student Council to make a difference in my school and community. I am involved in the dance committee, the 100% drive committee, and the pep assembly committee. Outside of school I like to play basketball.

My name is Daniel P., and I am the 7th grade president. I joined the student council because I wanted to show perseverance, respect, integrity, and determination. My favorite animal is koalas.

7th Grade Vice President

Hi my name is Alex O. and i am your 7th grade vice president and I joined student council because I wanted to help the school environment with dances and pep assemblies. I play travel baseball for the South Oakland A’s and play football for my school. My favorite animal is a hippo and my favorite color is blue.

Hi my name is Andrew Z. and I am the 7th grade secretary. I joined student council to help people and make a difference. As a student council secretary I help plan the assemblies and plan the dances. Some facts about me are that I play lacrosse and my favorite color is green.
